’47 ● Classic Olive Flatiron Hood + Classic Black Clean Up

I am doing The Maxiemillion for almost 10 years. Considering that the first post ever was online on December 2008 you may imagine how many times I changed my mind in this time frame for what concerns styles and trends.

Now I am 10 years older and this means many things: I am grumpier but at the same time I take more time to put together an outfit. While at first I was more hyped on loud styles, nowadays I try to balance what I wear, measuring every little detail like a chemist in its lab.

I don’t want to show more than two logos maximum. If I have a fresh cap and a crispy pair of sneakers, I won’t try to have you stoked on my t-shirt too, otherwise I am aware that I may turn into a sort of Las Vegas sign. Yes, I’m into a less is more phase and ’47 fits the times with its Classic Collection.

We ventured in this territory a couple of times already. If at first it was the smashing shape of Clean Up caps without any team embroidered on them, recently I even showed you what this “no logo” concept means on a long sleeve hooded tee and on the timeless heather grey crewneck.

Times are ready now for this combination here worn by Elena C. Here the Classic Olive Flatiron Hood is shown together with the Classic Black Clean Up. The feeling of a men’s item worn by a girl keeps on being a favorite here and the Clean Up shape is the Dad Cap that can’t be beat, especially in this color. Think of it in an all black outfit where you dress to impress but you still want to rock a cap.

The hoodie is smooth like velvet and its ribbed panel on the sides contributes to a flawless drop. Take note on how nice are long cuffs too. Definitely an outfit to wear for 10 more years…
