I talked you quite deeply about this collaboration project among ’47 and the street artist OG Slick but let me stick to the old Diddy rule that goes by “I thought I told you that we won’t stop” and let me give you one more post about it.
I am really excited when it’s time to talk about this collab for several reasons. I love Slick work and I always will. I witnessed in person what he is capable of when I took a picture of the huge American flag mural he painted at Famous Stars and straps headquarters. Beside this I love how he made a mark on street art world with his “Disney hands” that became a sort of trademark of his work.
This time, on the contrary of that other Los Angeles Dodgers design rather than his Golden State Warriors graphic remix, he did not use them. For Houston Rockets he played with the rocket in a different way, preferring to indulge into a writer calligraphy rather than bringing out the hands again.
As you see from these pictures, Alessia M is wearing Houston Rockets OG Slick ’47 Pullover hoodie together with OG Slick ’47 Clean Up of the same team. A more than respectable franchise from what we saw lately: James Harden team is one of the possible contenders to the NBA rings this year, so what’s better than showing your support in a street style influenced outfit?!
The hoodie is printed front and back with two different graphics while the cap, a Clean Up that like the others is “relaxed and curved since 1947”, has a rocket embroidered on the side.
’47 has still a few items from this collab available but not these two. Get them from Big Dick’s Hardware, OG Slick website, where these two items are still up for grabs. Just be quick: streets are talking…
