May I have an unusual post here? Instead of one or two items we go hard this time: two caps and two tees. I want to give justice to Carhartt x ’47 collaboration. I posted some stuff already, remember? First the Midweight Graphic hoodie then the Corktown beanie but I wanted to do more of this.
The opportunity not to miss was to have a couple of friends such as Nico A and Sabrina M that were down for a good laugh and a few items of the above mentioned collaboration still available.
So I let them fight over the debate: Boston Red Socks team is better than Detroit Tigers. They tried to pull their Carhartt made t-shirts but it all lasted a couple of minutes then the fight settled down.
Jokes aside here we are to check out Detroit Tigers Workwear Pocket and Boston Red Socks Workwear Pocket t-shirts together with Detroit Tigers Lansdowne Clean Up and Boston Red socks Lansdowne Clean Up snapbacks.
The tees are the original workwear pocket t-shirts used by carpenters and mechanics all over the United States. Conceived to last, these items are made of a thick cotton destined to be washed over and over, just like Carhartt got the workers used to. The sprinkle of sportswear is ’47 duty here. The MLB licensee added Red Socks and Tigers logos that otherwise could never land on these items.
The snapbacks are made of that rugged canvas that Carhartt is notorious for among hypebeasts all over the world. In this version the canvas has been slightly washed fo a better look. The woven label branding on the back of the caps is visible yet not too much.
Carhartt x ’47 collabo is based on outwork x outroot formula that translates on apparel sport and work values. Who else could do this but these two brands?!
