Fortunately we can count on Clae to put some order over the bad taste that seems to reign in sneaker world. I got you used to fine footwear releases of this Californian brand through last seasons and I am here to reassure you: no weird silhouette here, but a sleek pair of lifestyle sneakers.
This brand carries on tradition: to create essential sneakers with rich materials and it is not going to change following the trend “ugly is the new handsome”. Too many bulky styles are profiling everywhere but Clae doesn’t rely on shock value to be e renowned footwear brand.
It’s quite evident giving a look to these Noah Deep Navy Suede in the hands of Alessia M. Nothing is out of place and the design of its silhouette is an harmonious ensemble of perforated waxed suede. Its monochromatic upper is the right complement to the yellowish shade of the outsole and the result is a pair of retro sneakers that you can wear with virtually anything.
Think about wearing them to go to the golf club in a pair of chinos and a polo. Now reverse the scenario and wear them with a pair of distressed denim pants and a navy blue dad cap. Do you see what I mean by “virtually anything”?
It’s the kind of sneaker that doesn’t want you to show off but in case somebody wants to inspect them closely, you have brilliant features. I’m talking about the embossed branding on the slightly padded tongue rather than the smooth waxed laces. How about the neoprene accent on the heel for added comfort?
Clae maintains the taste bar high and this time it has a surprise for you: Lace. A catalog that is something among a lookbook and a design magazine and considering my passion for printed paper this is what I call a smart move.
I can only add that for further informations on the brand now you can get in touch with Blue Distribution. Another smart move…
