It was just the other day that I saw a clip featuring Redman live that said to the crowd “Do you remember the 90s out there?!” right before blasting “Time 4 Sum Aksion”. I sure do and another one that can’t forget that era is Shadow, the one man gang behind the new brand Classic. If there is one thing that separates the decade that we are talking about from the others is the fit of clothing. Now everything is close to the lines of the body, but back then everything was way larger. Expressions like “livin’ large” were heavily en vogue in that period. That’s why for this crewneck called 90s Star a true fit from that era has been brought back to life. Not only: the whole set up of a true golden age hip hop crewneck has been recreated. You have cuffs and hem in a varsity style and there are also side pockets for your hands. The felt applique on the chest is thick and solid and there is also a little “Stickin’ to the script” patch on the sleeve made with the same felt. If this is not enough to show the world how much you are down with Classic sh*t, you can increase the dose with a snapback. Do you remember those Keepers satin jackets that I posted not long ago? This Keepers snapback is here to stress the message once again: we are the keepers of the true skool and no fake sh*t is allowed. Stay true like our friend Veronica R in these pictures and beware: Classic invasion has just begun… Pictures courtesy of O’Graph.
