Diadora is on a flawless program. The comeback of the historical Italian footwear brand has no weak spots: right testimonials, proper communication but most of all a top of the line range of product. From the recent collaboration with Patta to the drop of the Black Snow pack for Emis Killa we have seen some fly kicks coming from this brand. What I want to do today for the fifth installment of Six Sick Kicks is to venture out of the zone of those Diadora that I showed you already. This Trident Camo SW in the hands of Valentina Z is a modern day version of a running shoe from the 80s. Isn’t this the mission of heritage brands: to take iconic pieces from the past and turn them into modern masterpieces? This Trident sneaker is made of a thick green ripstop fabric, brown distressed suede and white leather. What makes this Diadora special is the quality of its leather, beside the colors that of course couldn’t miss orange in the mix. Its lining deserves a special mention: the leather has been treated in a way that it seems that you have been wearing these kicks forever and the result has an uber soft touch. To contribute to give to the Trident a worn look even the outsole is a little dirty, according to a plan that leaves no detail untouched. When you wear these shoes you have a feeling of a solid structure that doesn’t lack in confort and this is exactly what you look for when you wear a lifestyle shoe like this, isn’t it?!
