Dickies is one of my favorite American Classics. There is no other way I can define a brand that started moving its first steps in 1922 as a workwear brand from Texas and evolved ever since, staying true to its formula. With its smart proposal and its correct quality price rate, Dickies branched out to hot rod and bike fans, but even BMXers, skateboarders and tattoo fans beside workers that built America.
This brand is on a mission to provide a different style to streetwear, where it carries on its classic workwear items but also getting creative on some other items, to give a urban edge to the brand.
This last section will be our focus today, because we are checking Wilmar t-shirt together with Buckner shorts. Originally “Shake Rattle and Roll” was a rock’n’roll hit from 1954 by Joe Turner and his Blues Kings, covered by endless groups, including Bill Haley & His Comets and later on… The Beatles.
Buckner Shorts are on a different wavelength: if the tee that Marcello B is wearing is about sun and fun, his shorts are about work. A cow boy work, to be exact, where your main concerns are bisons and horseshoes. In a short chino style (no cargo pockets) you have a really smooth cotton twill fabric that is ready to endure hot temperatures.
You can find a section of the hyper extended Dickies range on Blakshop.com. Considering how on point is the proposal of the entire website, you have only the best from Dickies here. Insert at checkout THEMAXIE20 to get 20% discount and I am on my way to become your favorite Italian classic…
