Djinns ● Forlow Light B Player

Djinns can never stay away for too long from my blog. The reason is under your eyes: ain’t The Maxiemillion a streetwear media crazy about sneakers and caps?

This German brand hailing from Ruhr area specializes in these two fields alone and considering that its flavor is certified fresh, today it was the turn of a smooth pair of sneakers.

Even if Djinns for the season we are in, developed several innovative styles with sherpa lining, closer to a boot than to a sneaker, this one is more of a classic style with a modern twist.

Forlow Light B Player is the name of this sneaker that shows an inspiration coming from skate shoe heritage. I’m talking about those skate shoes of the early 90s that even if they weren’t so popular like they are are today, marked an era anyway.

The modern twist that I was talking about is the foam sole that makes these lifestyle sneakers ultra light. Add to this the slightly pointed silhouette that makes Forlow Light extra current and you are set.

Made of suede, with perforated panels on the toe area and on side panels, this style relies on some smart branding. How about a woven label that looks like a small French flag on the side, with the same colors of the pull on the back to slip your feet inside?

Brands are doing this forever: colorways are a crucial point and they make the impact of a style change. This shade of color among navy and royal blue is very fresh and you bet: it works all year round.

To stay in touch with this brand is not hard: follow Djinns on its socials and on its website in order to stay updated on its news and on its spin-off brand Genesis Footwear. Yes, in 2018 you shall walk this way!
