Have you ever had the sensation to feel out of place? Like you don’t belong to the place where other friends want to go… Our connections over at Don’t Trust Anyone felt like this several times so this pushed them to design this tee. DTA is an underground brand from Venice beach that has a reputation to be a subversive force in streetwear that hardly gets any competitor in what it does. To put it in DTA words: “The best way to avoid disappointment is to not expect anything from anyone. Trust us, we learn the hard way”. It’s a movement that starts from the smallest (but truest) social group: the posse. An undefined unit of people that love to be together and work for a common goal with different skills. That’s how this brand put out its name on the map: hard work by a collective that refused to believe the hype and made itself known by word of mouth. Many other brands felt that DTA was doing things in a proper way. That’s why you had collaborations during the years with the likes of Union, Stussy, but also adidas and Gumball 3000 among others. I’m showing you the F.T.P. tee today, worn by Marie P. A quality tee black like most of DTA collection, it has a light print well defined and a small label at the hem. Do you want to have fun? This piece is ready to cause problems at any place you don’t like. It’s not difficult: you just have to wear it, smile and wait the side effects… Pictures courtesy of O’Graph.
