When you deal with És, you deal with pure unadulterated skateboarding. No sporting goods company here but a footwear brand for skateboarders by skateboarders. Not by accident Menikmati, its skate video from 2000, features a cast of pro skaters that wrote in that video a few pages of skate history.
It is among Thrasher Classics, and this alone says a lot. It was a moment in time that won’t come back, skateboarding changed a lot but fortunately És is still there with the same genuine approach.
We saw a couple of styles recently here on The Maxiemillion: from the Accel Slim to the chunky silhouette of the Silo and today we go back to the Accel Slim in a new and improved version. While most skaters love to wear skate shoes made of suede because of the traction of this material against griptape, some others enjoy the way leather skate shoes look. This means that if you love to skate with Accel Slim, then you should walk with Accel Slim Plus.
With no relation with iPhone logic where the suffix Plus stands for a larger version of the same style, this skate shoe here in the hands of Kim M fits true to size.
With its retro looking velcro strap on the collar it sure becomes more sophisticated and at the same time it increases the fit of the sneaker.
Beside its velcro this style stays true to the original design. Only its cupsole design differs a little with its small wave in the forefoot area but the traction of its rubber outsole is second to none giving the right balance among grip and durability. It’s a bit smoother in the midsole and that feels good.
Are you feeling this style? Go to true skate shops asking them to get in touch with Blue Distribution because you are tired of adulterated skateboarding and you want the real deal.
