I never get tired of Scout kicks. These “after skate” shoes by Etnies reached my headquarters once, I tried them on and it has been instant love. The fact that this is the fourth pair that I review here may tell you something. I am just crazy about how light and comfortable these joints are. How could I leave this model out of my Six Sick Kicks week? If you want to know about these sneakers you can go to my first post about that camouflage Scout or on the technical sheet on Etnies website but let me tell you about this collaboration instead. Once upon a time there was a super skate brand called Plan B that dropped a video in 1992 called Questionable. Skaters lost their mind over that video, as they kept on watching it, mimicking everything: skate tricks, clothing styles and even haircuts. Fast forward to the end of 2014 and history repeats with Plan B new video, True. Etnies has been ready to give props to the excellent video part of their Plan B rider Ryan Sheckler with that Marana pro model that I showed you last month. They felt that Shecks also needed also a pair of chill shoes to complete this collaboration and so even the Scout Plan B was born. A black breathable mesh upper meets an STI Evolution Foam midsole for an unmatched feeling. Add to all this a light touch of kevlar on the side with an Etnies logo on the left and a Plan B logo on the right and you are ready for an unquestionable chill time, courtesy of Blue Distribution. Oh, and by the way yes, these Scout have a reflective profile.
