Are you familiar with FairPlay Los Angeles? Don’t worry, I’m here to rescue your street credibility therefor, you will know everything you need to know by the end of this post. Inspired by the functionality of athletic gear, FairPlay is the new kid on the Los Angeles block where apparel has to be hot.
With its headquarter based in Santa Ana but with influences coming from every angle of the golden state we call California, this brand is working on a newfound street elegance where it’s not the screenprinted tee that makes you look good. FairPlay research is on cuts, confort and cleanness. This leads the designers to avoid what is easy to find elsewhere and in this way the focus of this brand stays relevant.
This Lark jacket worn by Elena S is proof of the working ethic that I just told you about. This woven speckled camo flannel jacket has been brushed to have the worn aspect that you see. Borrowing elements from the classic bomber (ribbed collar and cuffs) and from the coach jacket (center front snap button closure and flat bottom), this item is ready to be part of a multilayered outfit in any season. Its brilliant inside pocket with leather label gives you the picture of the level of love that has been put into designing this item, belonging to Blue Distribution roster.
So this is the third item belonging to the “Blue 3 days special” that I developed also including a “making of” YouTube clip that you have to peep. Now that you are familiar, feel free to browse Blakshop website on FairPlay page. Pictures courtesy of Valerio Papetti
