I don’t know if you were too busy noticing this but bucket hats are blowing up like they were TNT this season. It took a minute but it’s happening now and you know that Flat Fitty is never too far from the fire when it gets hot. Salute is the name of this reversible cap that you see. Yes, you are right: it’s not the first time that I post a bucket from this brand. The other is called F Stop and if you are a regular reader you will remember that even that one was reversible. I love this throwback, it makes me feel younger. When 20 something years ago you saw puppets in graffiti, a few of them were rocking bucket hats and if you had the chance to peep any “Yo MTV Raps” episode” you would have seen these pieces of headwear poppin’ here and there. Nowadays is 2014, Schoolboy Q is rocking one on regular basis and this shape is on the comeback tip, using its old school appeal for a new school remix. With a modern approach to craftsmanship and fabrics, the cap that Irene C is wearing blends a fabric that is relatively uncommon for a cap of this shape such as light raw denim and puts it together with an original camouflage design on the reverse side. The Panama looking little band brings more flavor to this piece that is not lacking in fine details and proper branding. And you thought that a bucket hat was just a cap like those of the fishermen…
