Very few figures may reach the legendary status of that pioneer whose name is Keith Haring. A rebel without a pose, with a huge influence on what will be later on labeled as street art, this Pennsylvania native moved to New York during the 70s. He left an indelible mark examining, exploring and executing art pieces in a Big Apple that seemed without limits to him. The city became a natural extension of his studio and viceversa it was easy to have random characters from the city inside his working space, that was constantly opened for interaction with the people.
Herschel Supply Co. wanted to bring back to our attention the timeless work of this artist and, considering the usual attention that this brand puts to detail, this time was even better. Blame it on the power itself of Haring designs, but the level of excellence that Herschel got you used to, somehow has been raised a bit more.
A capsule whose items include backpacks, accessories, headwear and even a couple of pieces from both Forecast and Voyage new outdoor collections has been developed in the same blue and white tone.
We give a look to Dawson Keith Haring backpack in these pictures of Elisa C: a street ready luggage piece that brings on the legacy of this iconic artist.
The fresh striped lining that you find in most Herschel pieces here leaves place to a nice red and white version of the same art on the outside.
You can bring your laptop with you in the pocket that fits up to 15″ while the two pockets on the front are perfect to keep your wallet, keys and smartphone handy.
