More and more brands are releasing brilliant items that open up our perspective on clothing and footwear. On subject of the latter, these last seasons saw every big name in the footwear industry drop extra light shoes of a more or less athletic style. Not exactly suitable for top performance these models met the expectations of a new generation of sneaker fans that uses them simply to walk. Hey Dude approached this change with a brilliant idea. Do you remember the Wally by this brand that I posted here a long time ago? The same model got a facelift, went into a space lab and the result is the Wally Sox here shown in its graphite colorway. The lightness of these shoes was already there from the previous version but here the major upgrade is the material of the upper. The breathable material of the shoes that you see in the hands of Francesca C is what makes the difference here. You have the confort that comes from a seamless construction of this one piece knit fabric upper that has a very dynamic graphic. At Hey Dude, the design department found this fabric that is slightly elastic. This allows your feet to slip inside the shoes effortless with a tight fit that at the same time gives no restriction, like a stretch denim allows you to move your legs in complete freedom. The insole top layer is 100% leather and easily removable to wash it or to change it. To change your perspective on confort, now you have Hey Dude on your side. Pictures courtesy of O’Graph.
