“I gotta go cause I got me a drop top/and if I hit the switch, I can make the ass drop” (Ice Cube)

One of the things I love of my blog is that I try to reach different people. So maybe somebody that is into clothing doesn’t know anything about skateboarding and vice versa. May you dare to say that I try to cross markets? Or I simply cross audiencies? You should already know by now that Lobster is one of the main supporters here. You should also know that Lobster appeals to hip hop and electro artists, fixed gear bike riders and skateboarders. A pretty hectic mix but I like it. Times are changing fast and you got left behind if you live in the past. To all non skateboarders reading this I invite you to follow me on this concept: switch skating. Naturally your tendency is to put forward the left foot (regular) or right foot (goofy). It may happen that when you do a line (back to back tricks) you may find yourself riding in the opposite way, compared to your natural one. Or to prove yourself that you’re that good, you do a single trick but you start to do it in opposite footed position already. The new frontier in skateboarding seems to be this ambidextrous ability that takes things to the next level. Riders like PJ Ladd, Daewon Song, Brian Wenning, Stefan Janoski and our favourite champ P Rod, to name a few, excel in this field, making it harder to understand which is their natural stance and their switch side. We are on this topic instead of talking about the above hoodie since I had a vision that may spark a few skaters mind: wear this hoodie when riding switch. I once read somewhere an interview of the great Van Wastell (r.i.p.) where he declared that his last video part would have had something to confuse people minds about his stance (peep line around 0.30). Without a doubt I strongly suggest this Mirror hoodie to those that want to have a picture in a magazine riding switch with the goal to put doubts in peoples minds. Can you imagine stuff like people inspecting about your picture printed backwards because of an error or not?! This just in case you take life with a smile and you have a lot of time to waste on funny things. If you’re still a rookie on that skate deck, keep skating and don’t look back…
