“I have dreams of fu**in an R&B bi**h/and I’ll wake up early and bounce with all your shit” (50 Cent)

I ain’t California Dreamin and I swear I have more dreams than MLK but I stay grounded: I’m a European (Italian to be exact) guy that went to the UK and met miss Zara Khalique of Dream Factory. Not related by any means with the famous price point copycat chain of stores that goes by the same name, this girl was at an event called Hit&Run in Manchester where my friend Natalie Esquire was djing. I went there to support of course and while I was doing the usual cocktail sipping, that any gentleman with a strong education does in clubs, my eyes got caught by this girl that was taking pictures. What was intriguing me was the fact that while doing her thing with the camera, she was putting her hair on the back, over her hoodie. Yes, she had her hoodie on in a club and she was repeatedly adjusting her hairstyle like this. With this fact I’m just admitting in front of all The Maxiemillion readers that I got intrigued by small things and big things sometimes are meaningless to me. I gave her my card and once I was back in Italy I got to know why she was taking pictures. Lucien, one of the djs that was there spinning that night, was rocking one of Zara creations. This smiley artsy girl designed by hand with markers that crewneck sweater (they say “jumper” in the UK, just for the note) and she was taking documentation to increase the visuals already existing in her website. I thought a lil bit about the whole thing and I came up with the desire to have my old school tag on a jumper ops… on a crewneck like Lucien’s. I passed the basic tag to Zara, she worked on it and the result is here to see! Excellent, funny and old school like your dad is. The gold you see is hand stitched. This alone shines in my opinion. What more can you ask?! I’m glad to inform all the ladies that at Dream Factory, Zara customizes even bras. To sum it all in one word in Manchester steez… “big”!
