If there is something that you can’t say about Just Hype is that this brand isn’t able to catch up with… the hype. Born in 2011 when the full print craze was hot as lava, the brand founded by Liam Green kept evolving but always with an eye on what the people love.
If Paul Wall was the peoples champ, Hype is the people’s brand. In the words of its founder “We say ‘HYPE is for everyone’. We’re a brand that in my eyes stands up for everyone… everyone’s cool, in some way or another!”. I am thinking about the average young guy that goes to school: when he goes out shopping he has something in mind, a piece that he saw somebody wearing at his school (and UK is full of students rocking this brand).
What if you want to represent your love for the brand with the original allover print that came before all of them? I’m talking about tie dye, the technique made famous by hippies that allows you to play with colors on your tees and fleeces.
Honestly this item seems like it has been spray painted instead of tied and then dipped into color. It gives me the impression of a white blank that was hanging in a room with somebody spraying on it. It doesn’t matter much in the very end, considering that the result is sharp and in your face just enough.
Peep these shots of Sabrina M and you will see how the fleece that she is wearing drops flawlessly on her. I gotta confess that this time Interjeans, Hype new distributor, sent me a women item in the proper size so no “stolen to my boyfriend” effect even if the name of this item is Pink Tie Dye Boyfriend Pullover hoodie.
I will show you more of this brand during the season (but I can’t guarantee that I will keep on dressing girls in women items…)
