LBSTR – Prawn Shorts chambray

Sometimes no matter where you run, no matter where you hide there is no escape: it’s not a matter of getting out of the kitchen when it’s hot because… t’s hot everywhere in these July days. A better suggestion comes from LBSTR that kindly invites us to give a look today to its Prawn Short Chambray. Get out of your home dressed like a street prince not lacking in style and finesse like Q Tip was making you clap your hands. Similar to denim but way lighter, if chambray was once used by tailors to cut and sew fine shirts, nowadays is a streetwear favourite and designers are using it even for caps and shorts as you can see. Mickey B helped out in this shooting and gave to such a delicate item a rough edge, showing us once again that contrast is beautiful. He had the idea to cuff not only the bottom but even the top, showing you how accurate is production with the gingham lining. Put an eye on the fit because it’s one of the best features of this piece: regular, almost slim. So, like this wasn’t enough, LBSTR offers you a made in Italy item. Not many streetwear brands do it and I gotta give props for this smart move to Jeppy and Cento, the two headed dragon that rules over this brand for keeping the bar high all these years without showing any weak spot. Wait, did I just called my two friends “two headed dragon”?! Must be the temperature, I don’t know what I’m saying anymore. I think I need a beer…
