LRG ● Shintaro Denim Jacket + Shogun Check Plaid Long Sleeve

I know that after I posted yesterday that LRG outfit part of the Tokyo Rising capsule collection, you couldn’t wait to see the sequel. This 3 days special on such capsule is now at its second episode and if you remember yesterday I ended my post writing “Pass by tomorrow for more bleeding LRG items…”not by accident.

Shintaro Denim Jacket is not for the weak at heart. Remember when GZA had that intro on his first album talking about a shogun decapitator? This must be his workwear jacket, worn to chop off heads of traitors and people with wack style in general.

This item has it all: distressed washing and holes, front and back patches with the rising sun in a biker style, screen printed Japanese ideograms but most of all blood drips all over.

What Sally B is wearing here is an item with a very strong impact, perfect to create some impressive mix and match outfits. Best worn with a jogger or a chino in order to avoid an overcharged outfit. Think about wearing it with a plain white tee and tell me that it isn’t a… killer outfit.

Shogun Check Plaid Long Sleeve is all but your average lumberjack shirt. It’s a bit less impactful than the jacket but it sure belonged to the above mentioned decapitator anyway. With the Rising Sun logo on the back patch and blood drips all over, this item worn by Elena S is perfect for the season that is approaching. Its cotton poplin fabric is lightweight and this plaid design is timeless, especially if it’s updated with such sharp features.

If you have been strongly impressed, get ready for the grand finale tomorrow as I will post the two last items of this capsule. In the meantime feel free to give a look to LRG website: the Lifted Research Group is not about blood and swords only…
