“My battle axe tongue hacks tracks/once the ball drops, I’ma snatch ten jacks” (RZA)

A battle axe is pretty much epic in a fight. Or really crazy, Shining stye. Think how crazy it can be on a plate with a slice of pie on it. It’s like going to a Vespa meeting with an Harley Davidson. A bit out of place. Do you like things out of place as I do? Perfect. And do you like hidden messages and stuff to decipher as I do? Bingo. Upper Playground is king in all this. Tomer Hanuka is about to shine in this short but sweet delivery here above. The NYC based illustrator and cartoonist is the next big thing. How violent is the impact of Pie-Axe?! Yet its drawing style and the paradox of such a combo make you wanna smile. I’m sorry for all your friends that can’t wait to see you with a logo on your tee, so they can feel safe when they see it because they recognize what you’re wearing. This has four letters. Remember Batman and his enemy The Riddler? He may have an hard time with this tee shirt to read Upper Playground San Francisco. Or maybe not, the brand has been out there for a minute now. This is a company that you too, reader of The Maxiemillion, should know. They like to celebrate artists that partecipate in their movement giving them a book, pretty much like skate companies do with skateboarders: when they become professionals they get a pro model. Not really. Kinda. Our man here has been confirmed more than once, since he is an award winner with prizes coming at him from every angle. Tomer Hanuka book will be out next September anyway and will show us how comes that such a talented artist became part of Upper Playground. Overkill will be the title and word of mouth says that Pie-axe illustration will be on the cover. The second tee is called Bird and quite frankly puts me in a weird mood. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock classic movie from 1963, The Birds, this tee gives me a scary feeling. It takes my ancestral fear out and I think those seagulls may attack me anytime and not the lady in front of them. No doubt that emotions in large quantities is what we get in front of these tees. Now, if I only could understand if this last subject is more suitable for Birdman or for Jim Jones, leader of Byrd gang…
