Neff website may be confusing if you read its url. It says neffheadwear.com but it’s way bigger than headwear: it’s called in this way because of the origins of this lifestyle brand that moved its first steps giving away beanies to a snowboarding elite of professionals.
Give a look to my Neff posts and you can find a lot more than the average streetwear brand has to offer. We had caps of course but also watches, sunglasses, hoodies, tees and even a snowboard hoodie and it’s on this side of Neff that we are focusing even today: snowboard apparel. It’s not a technical layer that has to be waterproof and ready to perform but rather a shirt to wear after your session is done.
Peak Button Up is this red shirt (also available in a forest colorway) in a lumberjack style that may trick you into thinking that it’s made of flannel. This item is actually made of pile fabric to maximize its warmth, ready to make you feel protected like you are wearing a thick hoodie minus the actual weight.
Feel the freedom of movement of the shirt here worn by Sara R, that looks either good on the mountains and in the city. It’s the type of garment that never loses its appeal: hardcore punks in the 80s used to mosh under the stage wearing shirts tied at the waist, rather than MCA of the Beastie boys had a shirt of this kind when he performed in Milan in the 90s. Fast forward to current times and you have YG and A$ap Rocky wearing checkered flannels.
It’s safe to say that this Neff shirt has the extra touch that makes it belong to the range of this brand. Those branded buttons and the label on the pocket rather than that woven label “you are one of us now” make this a must shirt if you love the #foreverFun movement that this brand based in California represents.
All you have to do now is to get in touch with Nitro Distribution and ask “where is the nearest Neff dealer?”. Nothing is confusing in all this…
